Third Annual Fall Mad Hatter's Tea PartyThe Friends of the Casade Library Group held their 3rd Annual Mad Hatter's Membership Tea Party on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the Ashley Inn. Over thirty attendees were treated to a delightful luncheon and tasty tea. Entertainment was provided by FOL member and Tea Party Chairperson, Peggy Koehler who sang "When I Take My Sugar To Tea" to her husband Curry; she was accompanied by Violinist Lois Fry and Jim Mayfield, husband of our Library Director, Robin Mayfield. Judith Nissula read a book from her childhood, "Rabbit and Skunk and Spooks". FOL President Betty Joe Clapp was the MC for the event. Several door prizes were awarded as well.
