Jan – Jun 2023: Mental and Physical Wellbeing Class for Children and Parents/Guardians

January 26, 2022 By Cascade Library Staff

The Cascade Library is offering a mental and physical wellbeing class for children and parents/guardians. In this class you will learn how to handle stress, with coping mechanisms such as mental and physical exercises. Please send an email to [email protected] or drop by or call to register.

Vicki Fryar is a licensed social worker at Cascade Medical Center. She has always been active in the community she lives in. Growing up in rural La Grande Oregon she appreciates the importance of family, community and service. While living all in Oregon, Minnesota, New York and Pennsylvania, she has been intentional regarding connection, interactions and appreciation for the diversity of each place and people. Understanding the importance of the whole person, Vicki appreciates the interactions of mental and physical wellbeing.

Having been married for 30 years she appreciates the complexity and diversity of raising four totally wonderful and different children.

Come by and talk to our counselor paid by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare Grant.

She is at the Cascade Public Library on Wednesdays 3 PM- 5 PM, and Thursdays 10 AM to Noon.
